Do You Know These Skincare Mistakes?

What if I say that your skincare routine is the cause of your problem? Yes, following the bad skincare or repeatedly doing the same mistakes to your skin leads to dullness, breakout, wrinkles, and more. So what is the solution? What is the correct skincare routine? What mistakes you are doing? Many people turned towards technology things and spend tons of money on laser treatments, light therapy, etc. But the question arises are they worth your money? For a few days it is okay and then say hi to your old skin. Well, it’s not that tough let’s start from the basic, and analyze what you were lacking and let us know in the comment section below.

  • Frequently touching your face:  Ever thought how many times you placed your dirty hands on your face? You might get itching on your face and you scratch it with your nails, you had sweat and you swipe it off with your hand instead of using a handkerchief. We don’t even realize but we do touch our face more frequently than we touch any other thing. But what can we do instead of not using our hands? Always carry a cotton cloth in your daily closet, use it when you feel itchy on your face. Have some good refreshing face wipes (no facial wipe) and use it for wiping off your sweat. Also, you can use the refreshing face mist and then wipe it off with the dry wipe.

  • Too many night care products:  You might have heard that the skin works best at night while you are asleep, also there are tons of night creams or gel that promise to make your skin look wonderful, but do they? Skin repairs itself, due to the presence of stem cells in the dermis and cells in the stratum basale of the epidermis, but it does require a proper skincare regimen. Avoid using any night cream or gel, just double cleanse your face, and apply your toner and sleep. Leave your skin naked; let it breathe because the night is a great time to give oxygen your skin.

  • No separate towel for the face:  Do you have a separate towel for your face? Many people prefer using the bath towel for wiping the face. This is the big no, always keep your face towel separate and wash it daily. This is more about bacteria and cleanliness issues; you are using the same towel you use to clean your butt. Face skin is different from your whole body skin and it is more sensitive thus require more care. Use the cotton towel for wiping your face after a bath or let it best air dry you can do.

  • Too much influenced by bloggers:  So what your favorite blogger suggests becomes the stone line for you, isn’t it? It does not mean what is suiting them will also benefit your skin. The first thing you have to keep in mind is that most of the known bloggers are paid to suggest the product to their followers, secondly what they are using is according to their skin type and concern, it does not mean that the product will also benefit you. Stick to the one that you have been using since long and are giving the good result to your skin, do not matter whether it is just a block of soap to cleanse your skin, if it is giving you good results stick to it. Don’t switch products too often and especially by the influence of your blogger.

  • Ignoring toner:  It is often said to follow the good CTM routine that is a cleanser, toner, and moisturizer, but most of us ignore the toner. Why? Because we don’t find it necessary or some might use it for removing the makeup or cleansing skin. Toner plays a great role in our skincare routine; there are tons of toner in the market such as pores minimizer, for acne-prone skin, etc. Toner protects the skin from the harsh chemicals we have in our makeup, it shrinks the pores and saves us from the pollutants. One should use toner twice a day, many dermatologist suggest using toner in the night as cleanse your pores more effectively by completely getting rid of all the dirt on the face but it should be used in the morning as well. The good CTM routine is very important for healthy skin therefore one should be careful while purchasing the skincare, make sure those are non-comedogenic, and of course sulfate-free and paraben-free.

So these are some common mistakes that we have been doing since long but we don’t realize that ignoring such a thing can cause great harm to our skin. Analyze it and let us know which skincare mistake you have been following.
